How should I teach?

Yes, with a question mark. Discussion with a colleague from another institution yesterday (she also teaches information systems): they present an issue and exercises first, then deliver the theory. Naturally, I would have done it as (almost) every book does it, but no tutorial – given them theory first, then made space for exercises. However, I can see the benefit of “just trying things out” when it comes to independent thinking. Perhaps I’ll try it this way this time.
